NOTHING HAS CHANGED


It has been five years since we last saw each other and three since I last heard your voice. I am married and have kids and you have your girlfriend and you will marry her and start a family soon.

I just want you to know that nothing has changed. I still love you with every piece of my being. I think about you every day, I dream about you every night.

I know that we will never be together again; I know everyone expects me to hate you but I love you. I told you then that I would love you forever, and as much as I have tried to make it not true it is. I gave you my heart and I gave you my soul and they are yours forever.

I know you know. I wish you felt the same, even if there was nothing we can do about it.
