PLEDGED TO OTHERS


I should not be writing this, and you should not be reading it. We are both pledged to others, whom we love dearly. But that does not alter the fact that the two of us share a love that burns with a true flame, a flame that was sparked the instant our eyes met, a flame that has not been extinguished by all the miles and all the years. Do you believe in Heaven? If there is such a place, where immortal souls rejoice forever, then surely that is where we shall meet once more, this time forever.
