THE LOVE LETTER COLLECTION

THE LOVE POEM

Some days her face does tell a tale
Of deep radiance and more
And open truth does raise its sail
And point its bow towards happy shore

But those days are broke by a wind of pace
Of powerful blustering intent
And she turns to show her janus face
The one side cracked and marred and bent

And she smiles at me in that crooked way
Her eyes as black as coal
I try not to look and I turn away
But those rocks burn holes into my soul

And I wonder if I love her do
Of all her darkened flaw
But then I think of that darkness true
And I think I love love more.
